The story of Favourite Spot begins with Raj, a Glasgow local who stepped into the catering industry at just 18. For over seven years, he worked his way through kitchens and cafés, learning the craft of great food, good service, and what truly makes a place special.

Along the way, Raj noticed something missing: a space where healthy food met bold flavour, without the compromise. After graduating, he decided to fill that gap. With the passion and skills he’d built over the years—and with the savings he’d carefully put aside—Raj opened Favourite Spot in 2024.

Today, the café reflects his journey: a menu inspired by balance, flavour, and community. From wraps and paninis to vibrant salads, loaded fries, and refreshing shakes, everything is crafted to fuel busy lives while still feeling like a treat.

What started as one person’s vision has grown into a place where friends meet, families gather, and hungry Glaswegians find their new favourite spot.
