Spirit of Springburn

Spirit of Springburn SCIO  was set up initially as Springburn Regeneration Forum.  We’re made up of local residents and local service providers from Springburn.

As a result of work undertaken by Springburn Community Council back in 2017, we held our own community consultation in 2019 and updated in 2022, as a way of planning for the future of our community.  The result is we have our own Community Vision and Action Plan which is where our new charity comes in.

A list of 9 targeted projects were identified by the local community (the park, youth work, the winter gardens, better shops, nice places to go for leisure/fun and more).  To progress the work ourselves, we set up our own charity.
